PAVE DESIGN COMPETITION

This mobile pop-up, for City Relief, provides an easy-to-assemble, portable outreach shelter for the homeless society within New York City (NYC) and New Jersey (NJ).  The shelter is modular to accommodate different sites while the experience will promote friendship and belonging for guests to embody connection within the community. Aside from services offered to the guests, lounges and divided areas will be provided for both comfort and privacy within the mobile pop-up. The design's goal was to create a  sense of place that embodies connectivity, compassion, transformation, and excellence while enabling the homeless community to have a stronger sense of self.
